Codam approves an increase of R$ 2.8 billion in Amazonas' economy and new jobs
On the other hand the latest threats against the Manaus Free Trade Zone (ZFM), the Government of Amazonas, through the 295th Ordinary Meeting of the Amazonas State Development Council (Codam), approved the increase of R $ 2.8 billion in the economy, with 1,668 new jobs for the next three years. The meeting was held by the Secretary of State for Economic Development, Science, Technology and Innovation (Sedecti).
The incrise marked the first meeting chaired by the new State Secretary of Sedecti, Angelus Figueira, who highlighted the commitment of Governor Wilson Lima to avoid losses to the Industrial Pole of Manaus (PIM), and provide the state with an economic development plan that addresses the sectors established in the PIM and the strengthening of others.
